As far as that goes, boost controllers are basically useless if you cant control boost. 20 was also the most I could run with my electronic one because it would freak out on me.

So while my truck was at his shop he sent me a picture of a huge puddle of trans fluid under the truck and said it just happend over night one day. It had a little leak before, but this was a huge puddle, so I finally got a reason to put on my new trans pan!
And a surprise to no one, the trans isnt happy

This is what I call a big pan of **** it.
Changed the filter and installed this bad boy! No more leaks!

Ill wait for the trans to really crap out to worry about it
I decided against having the pipes coated and decided to just do wrap. Coating would not help heat in the engine bay very much IMO and I would need to wrap anyway. Since I am using cast manifolds and all stainless stuff I am not worried about corrosion.
I have about 100ft of wrap on each header. About 50ft of 2" and 50ft of 1". Of course I went with the black stuff for the top layer.
Bare:

Gold 2" wrap:

Black 1" wrap:

And finished after the top spray coating:

Hope to finish the rest of the pipes this week and finish moving the battery back to the stock location.

I wrapped the hell out of them because the heat in the engine bay without the wrap was pretty intense. My heat gun said the manifold was 750 degrees and downpipe was 400 degrees just sitting at idle.
Interesting though, at cruise my EGTs are 1400-1500, on decel after about 10 seconds (bottom of a big hill) they were 900 degrees. Pretty neat.
