That sucks, is it mild steel or stainless? There used to be a vendor that made headers for us Syclone/Typhoon guys that would always crack around the welds, they were notorious for it.. If you had a set of the headers and they weren't cracked you were getting ready to take them off for welding because they were going to crack !
The only thing I can think of is to have them heat treated or use thicker material on the next set..What are your plans??

Plan is to use a flipped truck or fbody manifold and move the turbo over to where the coolant tank is and use dual wastegates. This one is one of Kyles old ones, its sch40 steel so I dont think I am going to find anything thicker

You could use one of Tricks cast stainless manifolds with an adapter to go from t4 to t6
You would have to rework the gate section and that would be the only thing you would have to weld on it.
