Next step is align the pulleys with the gates tool. Then on to the Jakes lvl5 with t-brake and two step!

I also feel it's important for people to check the accessories bracket for cracks. I had to weld mine up because it cracked from the procharger bracket flexing.
Ha, I forgot......cool.

Not sure if I told you the mod for the standoff's on the alternator, but do that as well. Then get everything aligned and you should be good to go.

Thanks man, just got done fixing a lot of my problems and it seems to be holding up. found an ear on the alternator bracket cracked and also noticed that the alternator wasn't tight anymore. apparently the procharger spacers got to where they were not pushing those spring collars against the alternator anymore like in your write up. Changed the bracket and found some steel bushings at ace hardware that were the perfect length and ID to replace the procharger bushings.

Good deal man. Sounds like you're making some progress.

I thought I was the only one that ever did THAT!
And more than once...before I started tacking them on!
I think the bracket flex caused it...never had another one come off after welding some gussets across the front of the bracket.
Experienced the alternator bracket cracking as mentioned by others as well.
Still had belt throwing issues though...on the original 6-rib...never tried an 8-rib.
The HoB DD set-up solved ALL of these issues!
