i agree if i had to do it over id go turbo no questions asked

but since I've got so much money and time in my setup I'm staying procharger I've finally got the bugs worked out no more belt throwing i plan on going F1 once i max out my D1

Really? Not really sure what that comment had to do with other "sales pitches".

Procharger is basically saying there is not a market for a direct drive kit for trucks. How hard is that to understand?

If that makes you reconsider, please sell your procharger and go hang out with "those guys"........lol

I'm not really sure why or what yall are doing. I didn't seem to have many issues with my out of the box kit......10.99 at 126 with an out of the box d1sc kit on the 4" 6 rib pulley and stock tensioner, no braces at 4550 lbs....on a small motor with stock heads.

I didnt think it was hard to understand? He commented on the bracket kits design and strength. The comment had to do with sales pitches when I asked the people at procharger 8 years ago before I bought the kit. I asked them all kinds of questions, two of the most important being what issues I would have if I wanted to make more power later down the road and what would be needed. I was told at that time that I could either swap pulleys, upgrade the head unit or both and that I should not have any other issues period. As we all know now, it takes alot of work to make decent power without constant issues with the belt. Now someone comes on here saying that they only designed the guts of the system for stock to mild combos for trucks because 99% of truck owners that buy a supercharger to be happy with the power you can make out of the box (uhm ok, if you say so) "unlike the mustangs and camaros".
My comment was pretty much to let the guy know that that kind of comment might not sit well with some people for the reasons i gave above. Everyone here knows that you have done alot of good for us procharger owners, but youve had alot of headaches and spent alot of money doing it . ATI could have just spent a little effort to help us "truck guys" out that are a "niche" up the power more reliably. Doesnt mean we had to have direct drive setups.

You don't live too far North of me in Crosby. If you ever wanted to take the trip down to pearland, I'd be more than happy to take a look at your stuff and see if anything is just glaring me in the face wrong with it. Let me know man.
