whats the best excuse you have heard someone tell you after their badass car got beat by a truck lol. or why they cant race you

my best are something like this

i was in gravel (mind you im right beside the guy)
my engine was starting to get hot.
im still waiting on my new intake
i cant race because i need new tires
wait till i get my mustang... HA!

and my personal favorite... i did good for a 4 cylinder compared to your big v8 (uhhh 4.8)



i have more i cant remember but i wanna see what you guys have hear or why they couldnt race you too!

i had a guy in a scion xb pick a race with me while i was in the right lane with the cruise on. it took him a solid 2 minutes to finally **** me off enough to give it the gas and leave him 2 miles back.


it takes him about a minute to catch back up to me after i did a 12x mph sprint and slow back down and set the cruise. he roles his window down and yells at me that its just a 4 cylinder.

i was like "your the dumbass who picked the race!"

 

"well obviously your going to win you got a big v8"

5.3 v8 stock, on 35 inch tires, in a 5000lbs truck, vs a 4 cylinder on like what 20 inch tires that weights like 2000lbs?

 

You gotsta have NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWS!-coming from a kid in a riced out Cavalier that wasn't even worth wasting 1/4 tank of diesel on.

 

oh man i forgot about a guy in an rsx. we went from a 30 roll and i spanked him (this was before the stall, lts, retune, cutout, true trac, and 3.73s ran around 15.4) he comes flyin up to me and goes holy crap man that thing must be supercharged!!! wow

 

The wife and I were out for a cuise one night and see this jackass persian guy racing his M3 up and down the BLVD... I roll up, and he obviously has after market exhaust... and I roll down my window and say...

"Wow, sounds good... what do you have in it??"

his reply...

"It's chipped... 480HP..." (with a cocky attitude)

my reply... (trying not to laugh)

"When the light turns lets run 'em..." (we are both in the front, with no one in front of us for at least 1/4 mile)

he laughs and says ok...

LIght turned green and I launched hard, and instantly pulled out in front by 2 truck lengths... by the time I get to the second light, I am at least 5 lengths ahead of him... he rolls up fast and I yelled, "not bad for a 5500lb truck..." with a big *** smile... he threw his hands up and says he wasnt ready and turned off... loser.

 

my bottle was not turned on.

 

No one i've raced ever gave an excuse.
A friend of mine tried to race my blazer with his v6 mustang once. He got next to me and I heard him floor it. I laid into it and it looked like he slammed on the brakes. I saw his face in the mirror and it was simply a face of SHAME.

 

Well if I win I say "Yes! I beat you." Their reply "Yeah but your only 3300lbs."
I say "Its just a V6" Their reply "But your only 3500lbs."
