Added 3" Blocks + Cranked Torsion Bars, new wheels and tires
#1
Truck is a 2003 z71 Silvy, 5.3L, 3.73's and the g80
Wanted some more height, and a lot more offroad performance without doing a lift kit. Ended up cranking the torsion bars to max height in the front, and replacing the 2" block with a 3" block in the rear. It is now 40" to the top of the fender well in the front and the rear.
Tires are 305/70/16 Maxxis Buckshot mudders, wheels are 16x8 Cragar Soft 8's

For a small height comparison, heres a pic next to my friends 86 z28

And the last pic is next to my dads 95' F150. 5.0 with 2 inch blocks... and not sure whats done to the front. The tires on his truck are 33x10.5 BFG M/T.s
Just wanted to post this up incase they were looking to get some more height out of their factory truck, without doing a body or suspension lift just yet. I am very impressed with the ground clearance and am itching to take it offroad soon.

The Chevys really don't have the ability to ruin the angles like the Ford trucks do. A little added wear and tear compared to it lasting 200k.. to lasting 180k is fine with me.
