FS: Duramax swapped RCSB 1500 4x4
Been going through some serious soul searching and as much as it pains me to do it, I have decided it's time to sell this truck. My wife and I are house hunting and the extra cash would help a ton to get where we want to be, and I also want to start putting my time and energy into more family-friendly activities.
The truck is a 1999 Silverado 1500 4x4 RCSB. The rolling chassis (body/frame/running gear) is all from the 1500. LLY engine and cooling stack, Allison 5 spd trans, interior, electronics, and wiring are all from a 2005 CCSB LT 2500HD. New paint job in October 2013. Reflexxions steel cowl hood, 20% tint, solid rear window with defrost.
Engine is stock bottom end. I had it apart for head gaskets about 6 months ago and replaced all of the gaskets and seals, idler pulleys, etc. It also got a new radiator at that time. Heads were checked, shaved, and rebuilt at that time. Has ARP studs, LML driver's side manifold, LB7 passenger side up-pipe. Stock 1500 e-fans with a DC Control variable speed fan controller.
Wehrli S475 over stock twin turbo kit. Kennedy twin lift pumps, Kennedy Mega Filter inline after the stock fuel filter. Hewitt dual boost gauge for compound boost and drive pressure. Autometer GM factory match gauges for low pressure boost, rail pressure, EGT, and lift pump pressure. DSP5 tuning by Mark @ Danville Performance. 5" exhaust.
Trans was done by Mike L in August of 2014. It needs to be gone through again, and I will take the truck back to Mike and have this completed before any purchase is finalized. BT Lockup Box is installed. Transfer case has the MA pump rub kit installed. Axles are 3.42 gear ratio, and the rear axle has a TrueTrac installed. Caltracs out back. 2500HD GK torsion bars up front, new shocks (KYB Monomax in front, Monroe Reflex in back). 20" LTZ Tahoe wheels with new 275/55R20 Nitto 420S tires.
I've gone 11.8 @ 114 in the truck with minimal weight reduction (no spare, tailgate, or passenger seat). 5300 lb race weight. This was before the BT lockup box and new tires. I think the truck has an 11.5 or 11.6 in it with the lockup box, better tires, and the changes I made to the Caltrac setup. Made 600hp and 1100 ft-lb at a dyno day a couple months ago.
This truck is a blast to drive on the street. It has the full leather LT interior with Bose stereo, dual power heated seats, auto climate control, Onstar, XM Radio, power folding mirrors, etc. I moved everything over from the donor truck except the rear seats. A/C and heat work great.
I've documented the major build steps on this truck here and here.
I really hate to let this truck go, I have so much time (and about $45k) into it, but family responsibilities are calling and this feels like the right decision for me.
You may or may not have trouble registering this vehicle depending on your local laws and emissions requirements, so please do your due diligence if you are interested in buying.
Asking $25k OBO. Clean title in hand.

Another add-on I forgot....it has a Scosche BlueFusion A2DP/Handsfree bluetooth unit. Lets you listen to music from your phone, and steering controls work to change tracks and such. The Bose stereo is pretty good in the little regular cab...I was much more impressed with it in this truck than my old 2006 CCSB.
