Finally got around to finishing up both cylinder heads
Before breaking hard edges on the combustion chamber. Help prevent detonation causing hot spots and give the coating a softer edge since paint is thinnest at hard edges. Those little pieces of casting flash act like mini blow torches

Chambers smoothed...I still have to break hard edges on the casting holes. If you look at the head at the top you can see the edges smoothed and bolt holes chamfered.

Just enough sanding to remove the casting flash and give the thermal barrier coating a more consistent surface for more even coverage.

Thanks I appreciate it. No updates really. I’ve slowly been bolting stuff up to the truck to take it and have a laundry list of stuff fabricated. FedEx dropped my Supercharger and broke/cracked the rotor housing so I’m waiting to hear back if they’re going to pay for it.

I’ve got most of the panels to line up really well but still have issues with the inner fenders for some reason. As for the bed to body gap I think we’ve decided to add some bracing from front to rear of the frame. The mods we did to the rear of the frame/suspension are making the frame flex/sag in the middle which allows the top of the bed to flex inwards towards the cab. We need to address that before we can do the exhaust since it will be poking out through the bodypanel on the bed.
