Hmmm gotcha...I tend to brainstorm too many ideas sometimes.

The bypass on my Kenne Bell has a "valet mode" which is nothing more that a mechanical latch to hold the bypass valve open. With the bypass locked open, mine will still see a few lbs of boost with heavy throttle. If you decide to use this feature on your build, be sure to tune for it. Locking the bypass open will hit some cells that you normally would not see under normal driving conditions.

I'm not even quite sure if the Whipple superchargers have the valet mode feature. I do know the Kenne Bell as you mentioned and the Magnusons do. My train of thought was that it could be a cool feature to use when having fun racing people. I was also thinking along the lines of traction control. If the engine does make 800+ft lbs at just 4k rpms it could be extremely difficult to plant the power. Any recommendations for aftermarket traction/boost control systems I could look into? I see LPE makes a launch controller and rpm limiter along with a torque reduction module. Maybe racelogic type of traction control?

You would be better off using a device to mess with the timing to control traction and power rather than the bypass valve on the blower.

Anyone have experience with Holley Dominator? What I am unsure about is if it can be made to intergrate with and operate my factory controls/gauges. That is my main question. My current harness is plug-n-play from Current Performance Wiring. It has a 07 5.3 Trailblazer OS (needs to be changed to a 06 Trailblazer OS so it stops looking for a extra trans sensor I don't have). Everything functions as if came from the factory and has correct factory connectors for everything. The things that have perked my interest is the meth and traction control along with the displays available for purchase. If everything will function like factory with the Holley Dominator then CPW can build my harness for me as it will all be correct lengths and connectors with the correct torque specs on the crimps etc.

Got a couple new things for Christmas. Nothing big just tiny parts

-ARP SS Bellhousing bolts
-Black poly engine mount inserts (I had red but want to match the black ES trans mount haha)
-Lug Nuts
-Lug nut sockets
-Tools
-Fumoto Oil Drain Valve (because of the location of the oil drain bolt when you drain the oil it gets all over the crossmember. With this valve I won't have messes.)
-Percy's SS locking header bolts

Just got the stupid steering wheel airbag off to send away and get recovered. I should've watched a YouTube video first rather than cussing for 30min.

I just replaced my entire steering wheel because the 99-02 steering wheels look so stupid. No airbag, but I like to live dangerously anyway.

What did you replace it with? Aftermarket or another year/style? For overall appearance I'm trying to stay under the radar. Most things won't stand out unless you really know S10s well or loo really close.

Aftermarket Grant steering wheel. Its a slightly smaller diameter which actually affects steering effort more than you would think, but its the most unassuming one I could find. I cant access photobucket at work but I will post a picture for you later.
