6.05@115 is the best I ran @4900lbs or so, but only had 2 trips out with slicks before I broke the stock input shaft. I know I couldve got a 5.9x out of it, but lost a little interest and wanted more street friendly. I ran it in the 1/4 twice; first time my fuel pumps were not keeping up, and second time I melted a head on the first run. That second time I left super soft and went a 6.7 1/8th with a 10.2 1/4 at 140ish with the head melting at about the 1000ft mark.

6.05 is hauling serious ***.

1/4 mile racing seems to be much harder on parts than 1/8th, I may just go for 1/8th in the future, but 1/4 seems to be the standard.

Yea, 1/8th is much easier on parts amd theres probably 10 1/8th tracks for every 1/4.

I'm intending on looking for an 1/8th mile track. It seems like you have had a tremendously positive experience overall running the 1/8th. Hell, my driveway is 660 ft long.

'Cept it's dirt.

And not really flat.

And has a lot of potholes in it.

And I really think that the ducks would not care for their yard being part of the runoff.

I definitely like the 1/8th mile better. At the end of the day this hobby/sport is about having fun. If you are constantly breaking **** in the 1/4 and never break anything in the 1/8th and have very marginal extra fun by running and extra 3-4 seconds then its not really worth it. I dont really see it worth the effort to appease internet idiots that say the 1/8th isnt a real track.

being a heavy AWD pig 1/8 mile is in my favor... The only local track for me is 1/4 mile though. At a certain point being a street car the 1/8 mile is almost a better measure of its relevant performance.

Yea, I agree, unless you are into doing 70-200mph interstate rolls. If I havent won the race by ~120mph ish then im not going to win in a truck haha.

Do you plan on spraying as much meth as you did with your turbo setup? I think you had, what... two 15 GPH nozzles on it?
