So the fuel rails will mount below the spacer? Will you notch it to make them fit i assume?

The fuel rails mount on the lower manifold only (see the picture above). The spacer is a perfect match to the upper manifold, so it would be an extension of the upper manifold downward, so no need for clearancing anything. Just need longer bolts to hold the halves together.

And Mitch, the lower is ported, believe it or not!

Have you seen the issue regarding the fuel rail bolts that I spoke of? They were pretty miserable to install/remove. Or did you find a workaround?

Yea I'm not really looking forward to that part honestly

Cant decide if it would be easier to install the lower manifold first then attach the top, or assemble the whole on the bench and install at once. Either way getting under the intake thing is going to suck. I did buy some skinny bit adapters and have a swivel fitting I am hoping will make it easier.

Spacer should be done by the end of the week...weekend is busy, but maybe I will get time next week to mess with it. I posted a solidworks rendering of it above if you missed it.

I have all the parts I need to reinstall AC, just need the time. Need to relocate my oil cooler as its on the same plane as the condensor. I figured out what I needed to do with the steam vent things, just need to run new hose. Had to trim the accessory bracket a little but no big deal.

I am going to install the 8 rib crank pulley I have but still use the 6 rib system in the mean time until I get everything going.

I still want to pull the current cam and install my new one along with change out the heads, just need time

AC is critical....eventhough I rarely use it, it's nice having it when I want to roll the windows up and go.

What's the fastest 1/8 mile time this truck ran turbo'd? Did you ever run it in the 1/4?
