What benefit do you expect the added manifold volume will have? Are you doing this based off of Rays tests, or do you have some thoughts of your own? If so Id love to hear them.

I'm guessing upgraded Intercooler, but I'd like to hear this as well... What gives?

By heat i meant heat in the chamber, but you already know this :p

I expect some results similar to rays, but maybe not as drastic given the way a screw works vs a roots. I will some pics tonight to show yall what I mean by the intercooler being close to the bottom. It almost looks like it shrouds the runners.

As for why bother,
1.) I was bored and wanted to draw something and have it cut.
2.) Unshroud the ports.
3.) If it works I may could sell them
4.) Would make it very easy to add a direct port system or spray bars for nitrous or meth.

I'll get pics tonight, was a long day testerday

Phenolic is good, just expensive and difficult to work with. I would have preferred laser, but I cant find a local shop that can do 1" aluminum with a laser. I would think if you spray meth or water through the blower, the heat effects of phenolic vs aluminum would be almost nill. Its a better insulator, but that just slows down the temperature movement, doesnt stop it.

Aluminum is tough on a laser especially the thicker it is.
