Nice progress man. Are the Calspeed headers 1 7/8"? Also would you be interested in selling the Calspeed y pipe?

They are actually the speed engineering headers and y pipe, not the cal speed. They are the normal 1 3/4". But I am pretty sure the speedeng, calspeed, and texas speed ones are all the exact same headers.

Sent you a pm on the y pipe.

Wow I remember the last time I was on this site we were both going thru engines. I just blew my third, this one was my fault....... And going to build another , hopefully bigger and faster than the rest, right. Anxious to see how your whipple does. Good luck , will be checking in from time to time.
Can't start my new engine till the end of year, maxed out at the bank and have been off work since dec 15th , had knee surgery. got a LSX block and a F1X pro charger.
Good luck with every thing.

Well I actually drove it around on Sunday. It was raining though so I couldnt really do a whole lot since the tires are well worn out. It reminded me I need to fix the ABS since the larger brakes lock up the tires pretty easily...

It needs a lot of NA tuning and trans tuning. I had it set to basically never downshift because with the turbo I never needed to. Overall a successful test drive though. The radiator stopped leaking after a minute, so Im not really sure what that means. The transmission shifted through all the gears so thats good, but the converter still isnt locking so not sure what to try next on that.

I got the EGT gauge all set up and its amazing how much cooler it runs without the turbo. At cruise there is about a 500 degree drop in exhaust temp and about a 50 degree drop in oil temp.
