Visualizing that made me chuckle a bit.

That gives a lot of clarification to the construction and attachment of the outside bracket, thanks. I have no doubt it is much more secure that the stock GMT800 belt-in-seat restraint in the event of a crash.

I will be keeping an eye on this. I want to do a harness bar like Steve-O had done but am having a hard time finding someone locally to do it. I have a feeling I will need to raise the bar above the bottom of the back glass for proper fitment though. I won't know for sure till I get the new seats in but my shoulders are well above the back wall with the stock seats.

I even got a friend of mine to do the same thing and he didnt budge either

I intentionally made mine to be right under the glass so you cant really see it. Its not that visible sitting in it either, the bars are completely out of the way. I dont know if I have seen steve-o's?

Its basically a 4 point roll bar without the hoop going to the roof and the down bars shaped for easy entry. I would likely make it a little taller and add some diagonal cross braces.

Ah, yea, little bit more involved and not sure those curved outside bars are any stronger than my setup honestly. Hopefully no one has to find out haha.

Well got everything buttoned up and went to try to take a test drive but transmission is not happy. I can feel it go into gear (reverse, and forward gears) but the vehicle doesnt move with any throttle input (revs like in neutral). Fluid level is good, checked 100 times. Pressures are idle/2k, park: 110/140, drive 120/150, reverse 120/190. If I put the rear on jack stands and put it in gear the wheels will turn, but I can literally hold it still with my hand so its just barely dragging along in the trans. I really hate pulling transmissions and am hoping its something easy I can see by dropping the pan instead of pulling the whole thing out again. Trans was rebuilt because of a broken sprag (wouldnt make the 2-3 shift), but everything was fine otherwise.

Hey Richard,

Would you know if the middle jump seat would fit with this setup? Or would you have to take it out or get a center console?
