I thought about that actually, but I seriously doubt there would be near enough to change the temp of the heat exchanger. I don't plan on wasting more than I have to.

I assumed that would be your position. You see some pro mod videos where those guys purge for an obnoxious amount of time.

I'm a big fan of comedy and not taking things so seriously.

However, what about using the nitrous "waste" and turning it into a "use." Could you not make multiple nozzles or a bar to spray it across your heat exchanger? Cool it down a fuzz right before you stage.
You're onto something here...

Its actually pretty common in high boost diesel world, but they usually use compressed CO2 as its near the same volume/cylinder and temperature but a lot cheaper.

I say put a small piece of pipe back in the fender hole, then cap it in the engine compartment, then run the purge into the back of the cap. You could even put some mesh screen over it so it'll look like one of those sweet fender vents!!!!

I think you should put a fake arm hanging out of the hole.

LOL that would be hilarious.

I don't hate the idea of the purge right on the HX. I mean you will only purge right before a pull... so any additional cooling is a good thing.

Good thing I decided to use the 1/2" spacer as it was a pain to install. Theres not a whole lot of room between the cowl and lower manifold anyway, unless you want to put the whole blower (upper and lower) in at once, but that would be a huge pain to reach all the intake bolts. The 1" spacer would be impossible to install without cutting the cowl. Ended up using duct tape to hold the spacer to the upper when I flipped it over to put in there.

I am having to monkey around with the solenoid placement so I can get all the lines by the alternator smoothly without kinks, it sits closer than I remember. I think I am going to have to use a 45 or 90 bend on the nitrous outlet which I was trying to avoid but oh well.

The fuel solenoid looks busy as well because I have a pressure switch on the inlet side, and on the output side I am going to use the pressure transducer which I got to monitor the meth pump output pressure. The one pic is of my calibration setup with my adjustable DC power supply

I also redid the fuel crossover at the back to be a little less obnoxious. I still have the whipple one on the front, so the one in the back is overkill most likely. I drilled a hole in the bracket for the purge line to go through as well.

I want to use a big 12pin connector for all the crap instead of wiring it individually. I think that will look a lot better and allow me to disconnect the whole thing as a single unit instead of 11wires individually.

The new jets I need should be there this week, so really all I have left is wiring. This weekend is packed though, so maybe next week it will make noise.

does your wife think you're some sort of mad scientist with rigs like that in the garage?
