I hope I'm not late for work!

I have the same issue part throttle around 100kpa. Exhaust could be part of the equation as I am using the same Flowmaster y-collector you are but mine got more pronounced after the rebuild and the cam change. I think the large exhaust duration has a lot to do with it. I tried playing with timing in the rasp range and it didn't seem to effect the noise much. I can be in boost thru the same rpm range and it is not raspy.
I'm interested in seeing how this turns out. I would like to go down to a 3" pulley once I get my fuel system upgraded and will have to go the custom route again. I don't think the guy that did mine a few years ago is in business anymore.

Custom pulley from Bob should be here tomorrow! I am very excited to see how it looks and try it out. I had him make it 2.9" so it should be 12-13psi or so on the 402. I also have the gates HD tensioner. I am modifying the whipple bracket so hopefully I can just bolt it on. It looks like I need to bring it out about 7/8" for it to line up. Which makes me wonder how the magnacarger bracket looks compared to the whipple. Do any of you Maggie guys have a picture of just the accessory bracket? Is the HD tensioner a direct swap or do you use a spacer under it?
I thought about getting a Maggie accessory bracket and use it with the whipple, but having a spacer made is only a couple bucks.
Lowering the idle speed and in drive timing seemed to help my idle issue, but I haven't got it hot enough to really test it at hot idle (been raining for the last week).

Yea that helps a lot, it certainly looks like there is a little spacer that sits under the tensioner. Looks like the brackets are 90% the same except for the snout support part.

Yea, I figured it was something like that also. Very similar to the one I am having made, except I did mine with 10 different holes, so it can be aligned on 36 degree intervals, and 10 looked way cooler and symmetrical than just a few. Do you know or can you easily measure the thickness of that spacer? I am curious how close it is to the 7/8" that I measured that I needed on mine.

So I got the new pulley in and Bob did a great job! I install it along with an 8 rib pulley on the tensioner and an 8 rib belt and something is off. It sounds like rocks in a blender essentially. I take off the 8 rib belt and put on a 6 (keeping all 8 rib pullies) and the noise goes away. So, I think its back to that power steering pump not being fully lined up. I am trying to find another accessory bracket since I think I bent the one I have when I was first trying to seat the hub and that might be my problem.
