yea, Found a trans on Craigslist with 151k miles for 350. Might pick it up and have it rebuilt with a few goodies. Although this is pushing my FI plans back again. I should've listened and went with the 80e from the start.

GMC3 is running a 60e with a procharger on 11psi. Not sure of the longevity, but he is making it work. And yeah, those first gear downshifts at 40mph are pretty insane...

Are you on 33s with your 4.56s? I can't see your sig on mobile and I don't remember. Is your highway rpm acceptable?

Will that rebuild kit be enough. Want to be able to shift at least 6500 rpm.

Decided to go 80e huh Andy? Why the sudden change of heart? Thats the way I'm leaning right now too, bu I won't have any power adders for a while. I just think its the rigth move for longevity and peace of mind. These 60e trannies were NOT meant to puch a 5500lb truck into 13's... never mind 12's. Back when they came out they were barely pushing the sports cars into 13's
