so I was out looking at my truck and I notice that the down tube from the procharger to the intercooler is rubbing on the tire when at full lock. I'm guessing my oversized tires may be the culprit. has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas to fix it? thinking about some 1/4 wheel spacers and lifting the front suspension up about 1/2" or so. here's a pic

Get it out of the sky and put smaller tires on it lol. You'll be faster anyway.

lol, already turning 2600 rpm on the interstate. any smaller tire would kill my already crappy gas mileage.

Cant you loosen the lower hose clamp and push the pipe into the hose? Is the pipe against the frame already?

Picture isnt showing up for me but I agree. Run some 29-30" tires. Thats my next move. I run .1-.2 quicker in the 1/8 with my 30" tires over these 285/50-20s that are 31.5". Maybe try loosing up all the clamps and re-aligning everything.

the only way Ill run anything less than a 32" tire is on the track. Im running 4.56 gears. and gas mileage isnt a huge concern, but I try and get the best I can. the procharger kit was for a 05, not sure if its any different than the 01. I know the procharger bracket is different.
as for the pic. Photobucket is being a huge pita. I had to refresh the page a few times to get it to work

From the pic it doesn't look like its denting the pipe, just a light rub. I wouldn't worry about it and just try and avoid full lock. At the least I would just try and shift the pipe over manually if possible a tad.

yea, you know what the parking lots are like around here. you have to go to full lock to get out lol. I'll try adjusting the pipe a bit but their pretty set. I have some more piping and couplers to do a FMIC and can change it up to where it will not rub. thanks
