The challenger was completely stock. Car & Driver has the r/t at a 14.5 stock 1/4. with a DA of about 4500 15 sec is pretty good.
Went to Firebird last night. DA was about 1200. Not too bad. Im #91

my run against a Nissan 350Z

Some updates. I bought EFI Live V1.2 so I can start doing my own tuning. Logged my previous tune, it was shifting pretty early. It was commanded to shift at 6700 but was shifting at 6400. Got that figured out, now Im working on the fuel. Its comminding 11.3 at WOT so Im still looking into that.
Picked up a set of stock Denali 17s and did the Plsti-Dip treatment.

Hoping for a high 12 sec run this year.

Those look good andy. I'll have to think about doin the same with my stock wheels. Are they that much lighter than what you currently run? I hope so. I think you'll break 12's no sweat this year. We all know you have the right combo for it, just a matter of getting the weather on your side.

Just a tip... with the plasti dip the easiest way to block off the tire is with playing cards wedged between the wheel and tire.

Thanks, the stock 17s weith 59# each and are 1.2" shorter, my current rims/tires weigh 68#.
Yea, I had to redue the one with the tape. There was some water under the weight and caused the paint to bubble. I ended up not using anything and just rubbed the extra paint off of the tires. There is a T&T on Feb 11 that I am trying to make. But DA will most likely be in the low 4000' so Im just hoping for a 13.5.
