got everything ordered. went with ARP head bolts, gm 6.0L head gaskets, stock crank bolt. and all gm gaskets. Should be here by the end of next week.

Should I get a new timing chain? truck only has 75K miles.

I had a little over a 100 k when I did my cam swap. New or old the timing chain has slack but the old one deff was a good idea to switch. Plus it's only 55 bucks or so for a ls2 hd chain. I reused my stock sprockets

well after two days of working on the truck, the Hydro-boost brakes are working. The new power steering pump wouldn't cooperate, so I just took the whole bracket off lol. Pedal feels firmer. Taking it easy on the truck until I get it tuned. My head gaskets and LS2 timing chain arrived today. Just waiting on a few more parts and the heads/cam are ready to go.

Called a local machine shop. It would be $70 to mill my WCCH 317 heads .02 - .025. That would take the compression to about 9.8:1. Or would that be too much for a Procharger at about 10#?

Milling the heads costs flow and i dont think going from 9.5 to 9.8 will make a significant change, at least while n/a.

Regarding the plug, no luck in getting it. Havent heard from the guy, but kbracing gave me the name of someone else that may have it.

So not a good idea? Oh well. The ARP bolts are on back order so I had to go with stock GM bolts.
