I want to see this thing run now

 

Obviously I havent ridden in the truck, but I totally agree with that. I think I'll be looking at a low 13 with about a 3000 converter close to sea level. Andy has a lighter truck, more cam, more converter, and better heads... sounds like a recipe for success.

 

yep, it definitely is a blast to drive. I did a quick 0-100 last night, measured a 4.7 0-60. Need to get it to a track and see what it can do. Next mod... PROCHARGER!!! I'll see if I cant post the vid from the run.

The tune is no where close to set there yet, timing is very conservative. Andy what was the AFR there in general?

Gotta love the shift drop to just 5000 too, that converter is really working well. I can see from that video that yours pulls much better than mine does up top, which is no surprise given the better heads and bigger cam.

 

Nope, No spin at all. THe front limiting straps are doing their job very well in keeping the front end planted.

 

It looks like it runs great. You must be psyched to have it all squared away and running that strong.

How far out are you thinking on that procharger?? I'm really curious to see how the performabuilt tranny holds up to that much power. I have been debating a 80e swap myself... but its a lot to go through when I don't even know if I'll be going with boost down the road or not.

 

Its deffently running strong. Ran a 13.75 @ 97.5 in 2500' DA. Going to try and make it to Firebird raceway this Friday and get that 13.5. I need a lighter/shorter rim/tire combo. My current set-up weighs 68# each. Looking at a set of Nitto NT420S in a 270/55.
