I might head out there for a few. Its been about 3 months since I've been there. Too many cops starting hanging out there. I wanted to start draining the trans fluid tonight and start getting everything ready for tomorrow. Also gotta make 4 ramps

and the front ramps, might have to do another level. a 2x12 is really a 1.5x11.5

its 15.5" form the ground to the frame.

Is your truck lifted at all? Mine is stock height in the front and I'd have to drive it up 8 inches of ramps in order to make it even remotely comfortable. Then again, grinding the skin off your shoulder blades is never comfortable. A creeper adds like 3 inches to your height lol

It has a leveling kit. I have another 2x12x12. I may have to add another level or two, but its no big deal.

Well, get it high enough to work under. But not so high that the jack can't reach the trans. What sort of jack do you have?

the one on the right hooks up to my air compressor. has a max height of 20". Guy at autozone said that Ervs might rent a transmission jack. and the other is a 12 ton, not a 10 ton jack. Im going to call them in the morning.
