Are you still running the Westers tune or did you swap in the stock PCM?

It has the Westers right now. Going to put the stock pcm on when I get off work and have GMCtrk tune it.

Want to shift around 6500. I think I'm going to go with the Ls-r 227/235. Just like the way it looks. Just haven't found any reviews online with it.

Id look for something more along the lines of a 222/230 114lsa cam, gotta remember you've got a heavy *** awd truck, you need tq for cruising down the highway even with the 4.56 gears.

Got the first part of the tune done. The shifts are are nice a crisp. Even getting better mileage than before the the trans/stall. Still need to get the A/F adjusted, But it feels alot stronger than before.
Also ordered the Comp Ls-R 227/235 .614/.621 113LSA
Now a question, I have a set of Harland Sharp 1.7 rockers, but I do not have the studs for them. Should I get the studs, or get a set of the upgraded Trunions from Comp for my stockers?

spent about 6 hours working on the truck. Got it most of the way torn down. Had a hell of a time getting the drivers side head off. The head bolts were hitting the header. Had to remove the front driveshaft and drop the header. but it finally went my way. Rented a 3 jaw pulley from auto zone and when I got home the bolt was broken, so I gonna have to get another one.

Damn you're not messing around! When do you hope to have everything all bolted back up? Do you plan on getting some bigger headers or are you going to stick with the pacesetters?
