Since you installed a new non-spliced wire the voltage drop will probably be less than .5 volts.

Resistance for what you’re checking only confirms continuity of the wire.

To perform a voltage drop on the wiring to the pumps. Set the DVOM to DC voltage, put one lead on the start of the wire and the other lead at the pump. You should see less than a 10% drop on the wire, example 1.37 volts would be 10% of 13.7 volts.

Congrats on getting the pumps installed and wiring cleaned up. It looks really good! I hope the weather holds so you can get some track results.

Good Luck.

I wired the primary pump to the battery in the bed. The power wire is maybe 4 ft long the ground is only 2.5 ft long. It works very well. Can't wait for the track tomorrow

Supposed to be 43° tomorrow when the gates open. If it doesn't rain or snow it should be easy to make some good power.
