this is just me, but i wouldn't to the rake on the body lift - especially if it's only on the cab. it'll start looking like an old GMT400 that was overloaded & sagging in the middle.

Body lift parts arrived today, so I guess I'll give it a shot and see what it looks like.

Got the fuel tank and lines swapped over today.

Fuel cooler bolts in place of the gasser evap system. No modifications necessary.

I used the factory hard lines and cut a section out of them, spliced with hose. This allowed me to use the factory hardware that mounts the lines to the frame. Everything lined up. Kind of.

Got the crew cab chassis harness shortened also.

I love all the progress on this build. You're going to be driving this thing in no time. You don't think the rubber hose on the fuel lines will leak? Why not flare it while your in there?

Diesel fuel lines are in vacuum not under any real pressure like gas trucks since the cp3 sucks the fuel from the tank instead fuel pumps in the tank pressurizing yhe entire line to the injectors. Even after he puts a lift pump in it wont have more than 10psi in the line.

The tanks are identical in size and shape, both are 26 gallon. The diesel sender is larger than the gasser, I think that's the only difference.

Today's progress:

Swapped over the 05 ABS module. It's a direct swap, everything bolts up and the brake lines all line up in the same locations.

Installed the Merchant Automotive pump rub kit. This was the easiest transfer case work I've ever done

Glad I did this now, the factory clip was broken and there is some wear in the rear t-case half.Name: IMG_20130413_100907_960_zps19410096.jpg
