Default Back in the game. RCSB 1500 D-max swap coming...

Brought home a new victim...er...project today. 99 RCSB, 5.3, 4wd, LS trim, 190k miles. Looking for a donor LBZ truck now

Hell a stock LBZ with a tune would be a rocket !

MPI twins would be insane !!!!

What are you going to do trans wise ?

I'm not sure yet mod wise. I want to get it running with all stock parts first, then decide later what mods to do after.

I'd like to drop it some. My plan is to put the 2500 rear axle and front drivetrain stuff into this truck, so it will depend on how much flexibility those leave me with.

Depends on how long it takes me to find a donor. I'd like to have it running this summer...hoping that once I get the LBZ truck the actual swapping won't take too long.

I'll be leaving the Allison 6 speed mated to the d-max. They supposedly fit with minor modifications like the 4L80E does, just a new crossmember and driveshafts.

How much better could it get? RCSB with the allison/Dmax. That is going to be too much fun man
