Very nice! What did it take to get the intercooler behind the grill?

Thanks, For all the sorrow ive felt over it, it keeps my mind busy. Everything will be a clone, except the nose. It will be lighter, adding the 70mm, turning it up to 12lbs, a trailblazer ss intake with 92mm cable driven throttlebody. Should run 11s all day. I just need to move on and keep busy with the new one. Im just glad it cleaning up good.

Just bolted up just like I had it on my silverado. That bottom cross bar thats held on my 2 10mm bolts came off so it would fit flush against the A frame. I also unbolted the bottom bolt of the ps cooler and moved it over a half inch. The grill sits flush on the intercooler, fits awesome.

Good plan on keeping the 2007 because it looks too clean to race.

What size intercooler? Because it is tight fit for my 4" IC on my Chevy. GMC has less space in front of the grill. Without cutting the A-frame support, it will be near impossible to fit 4" on GMC.

Anyway good to see you back on track.

What will happen to old truck? Is insurance covering it?

Insurance gave me a total of 5200.00 dollars, that was after buying my truck back for 400.00. I knew the only way to get a 100% of my parts value was to buy it back and tear it down. My truck was an 03, 108,000 miles, they gave me 4400.00 and 800.00 for the mods, which we all know cost alot more. I uploaded over 40 reciepts, and 247 pictures lol. It doesnt matter, 5200 doesnt put me in a truck as nice as it was, so financed the new one. It was out of pure luck it had all the mods it had. A donor truck was the way to go, and salvage as much as i could off the old one and start fresh. The intercooler is from the trick kit, stage 2, so its probably a 3" or so, its flush with the ac condenser and flush with the grille.

Got the beds swapped today, took the racetronix harness and fuel pump out of the crashed truck and got it switched over aswell. Was planning on doing the rearend swaps and caltracs today, but putting it on hold until the thanksgiving holiday. Once thats done all I will pull the engine and trans and swap that stuff. Its coming along.

And the finished product. The rear will be dropped when I switch rear ends, along with the caltracs.

Wow, that frame was hurt. I picked up an 06 GMC for parts and the front rails were folded over in the same fashion.

Glad to see you kept it and are putting the parts to good use.
