Does your spool feel slower? Could that be part of the slower time at half track? The launch itself usually doesn't have all that drastic of an effect on the MPH. Down 4 is kind of a lot. I would guess you could take a tad more timing than 13* at 15PSI. What size nozzle are you running? I have a 15GPH and I was able to run 16* safely with the blower making the same boost in a higher compression LQ9.
That was my plan also to raise it up a bit to come on at a higher boost. Im just running a single 625ml nozzle, i think thats just shy of 10gph. My Iats in January, 40-50 ambient temps, would rise to 132 plus after a pass, friday was almost 80 degrees, and at the end of the pass iats were 91. It was hard for me to tell if it spooled slower honestly. With the 70mm and 2 step, I would leave at 8-9 psi and cut a best 60ft of 1.54. Last outing with 70mm it went 1.64 and I ran 7.1 at 97, 11.1 at 120. My best 60ft leaving was 1.64 leaving at little less boost with 78mm. Like I said earlier, when I left with no 2 step and 5 psi, truck trapped 97 8th with 78mm, and im guessing having the meth not involved on launch helped a bit. Some buddies of mine, said truck looked lazy coming out until about 60ft mark, then it came to life. I ran drag radials my first pass, I havent had success on radials lately, so I launched with no boost, 2k rpm, roasted the tires in first, let out, eased into it, spun through second then it grabbed. I ran a 8.4 at 89 8th, then went 12.6 at 117 quarter. After seeing it picked up 28 mph on the big end, I thought for sure it was going 10s with slicks. Bolted the slicks on and best pass was 11.3 at 119. DA was a bit crappier then with 70mm, so that may have hindered it. Ill keep working at it. This friday is supposed to be a high of 88 here in NC, and 45% humidity, so I will do my best. We are hoping the changes made to the tune will help spool, and have it hit earlier.

Been awhile since I updated this. truck has been stuck in the 7.0s and 11.0s for awhile. Last couple outings , had some carnage. broke flexplate on a 11.0 at 121.8 pass, then 2 weeks later, broke the drive shaft on a 7.02 at 98.5 pass at 8th mile track. Had to get new trans case, built 4" aluminum shaft 1350 etc. Went with a adjustable Qa1 shocks all the way around, and managed to lighten it up by 150+ lbs. added a tubular trans mount and loop. a couple more little things and I will try for 10s again. last time out it was in the high 80s, high humidity, so I hope the cooler air will be good to me. I also traded in my tundra for a 15 crew cab z71, and loving it so far.

Great job bringing that thing back from the accident! Why did you switch to the 325 DR's? Were there issues fitting the 390 on the 9.5" wide racestar? Was it for overall gear ratio? I have a set of 17x10s & was considering the 390s...
