I have a 2006 crew cab silverado with 5.3 and gonna use this truck for a daily driver all it has now is the volant intake and scoop with the throttle body spacer I also have the zex silverado nitrous kit for it not installed yet

Was also thinking of using the transgo hd2 **** kit? Any suggestions what I should do??

It'll prob need a little more converter then that being a silverado.. Probably a eBay revmax 5500 ftw.

To the tread starter: You will soon discover that everyone has their own opinion on "the best cam" I suggest you research what cam specs mean and how it effects engine size.

There is a TON of knowledgeable people here, the one thing they dislike is a post that you can scroll down the page to get your answer. Very helpful people here if you help yourself. Yes smart guy I seen all thoes different post and was still unsure on what to use that's why I asked and had the comments directed towards what I had done to my truck rather then a truck with headers, custom tunes and stuff like thanks for your reply tho and want my truck to still pass smog if that's possible with changing the cam
