Default Cam choice questions, check this out

There have been several cam choice questions lately so I thought this might be of interest to you guys. This is my new cam 210/220, .596/.581, 112LSA, 108ICL idling. Now this is a special idle taught to me by a good tuner. He's not a sponsor so no name, but its a cool trick. Y'all check this out. Motor is a 5.3 with 241 heads on 10.5 CR.

Im missing what im supposed to be hearing on the idle? Small cam, sounds like you have a little cam?

What did the tuner teach you? How to mess with idle spark timing to make the idle quality rougher or smoother?

FYI, the idle makes the cam sound a lot bigger than it is. You can't please everybody, if you're not impressed, oh well, i don't care. My purpose in the thread was to show the folks asking questions what a cam in the 210/220 range can sound like.

Without what the guy taught me the cam wouldn't sound nearly as large. What he taught me he asked me not to disclose. There are a lot of things that can make the idle smoother or rougher, but what I was taught makes it lope like that.
