I have a Powerbond because it was the best deal I could find. There's a bunch on summit racing's website.

I went with Trickflow for the sake of the companies performance history and they include the alt pully and have the belt info you need which makes life a little easier because you will need a new belt

Can someone explain to me the benefits of switching the underdrive pulley? Is it just that it makes smaller revolutions? Sorry for the newb question and not trying to hijack your thread. I'm interested in getting one to go with my cai and tune in the 6.2l.

I have considered getting one myself but haven't been sure the little bit of gain was worth the wear on the motor. Before GM upgraded the timing chain on the ls motors guys were breaking chains after installing them. If timing chains are breaking, what is that doing to rod bearings? Not sure how much the smaller underdrive pulleys dampen crank vibrations. I also dont like the idea of my water pump and alternator being less effective. Cooling might not be an issue with you but I live in the south and its been 105 this week. Hotter motors never feel as strong. Also, if you ever install a blower it would turn slower and build less boost. I guess at that point you could take it back off though. This is just my personal opinion. Everyone that has one is totally against anything I have said here. You might call ATI Performance and ask them the pros and cons to smaller crank pulleys. I'm pretty sure they have some feedback on this.
