Talking Got to run my first brand new Nissan titan tonight.

Getting in my truck at the gas station, a guy I know(kinda) pulls up in his brand new Nissan titan 4-door 4x4. We bs alittle, and I'm asking tons of questions about his truck. At this point, he still thinks I'm "stock". He's asking about my truck, and I tell him it's "pretty quick". He says he's had it for 2 days, and he's beat every stock truck he's ran so far(not that hard to believe). Anyway, he asked if I wanted a run. I reached over and opened the cutouts and said sure. I hit the key and "dirty silver" woke up. The expression on his face looked somewhat like this-> . I just laugh a little, then we take off toward the highway. We line them up, and my truck is just sitting there shaking from the cam idle. He tells me to call it, and I say," It's on you, man." He says ready, and we go. Of course, since I'm on the street tires, I'm just smoking the rubbers, fanning it alittle, and smoking them some more. I pass him alittle sideways and the truck finally hooks. It's off to the races then. I put way too many buslengths on him before I finally decide to shut it down(I have no idea how fast I was, but it was well over 100 and more than enough to make my point) . I pull off the road and he comes up beside me. Him and his wife are laughing there *** off. All he could say was, " That MF is unbelievable!!!" I tell him alittle about the setup, and he tells me he can set me up some races. I tell him I'll hook him up with a small cut if he can line some up for me. He was simply amazed at the truck. I guess I made a good impression on a new Titan driver.

How much do you think Titan's cost? They aren't a cheap truck. I would defintly drive them as a crew cab Titan will blow the freaking doors off a crew cab chevy.

Good kill though man, I haven't had the chance to ride in a Titan yet but everyone tells me they haul ***.

Hahahahaha

A friend of my boss came in today with his new Titan looking for a stereo. Funny thing is the Probox for our GM ext.cab trucks totally fit in his Titan. I guess his truck is now a lil bit cooler since he added something GM to it.

Nice guys though. He didn't once try the brand lotalty crap and even commented on how shitty the brakes were in his truck and how they have been replaced twice. It's cool when someone can admit the short commings of their vehicle. Heck I do it all the time

ok lets do some math
Nissan Titan loaded ext cab 4X4 MSRP: 32450
Chevy silverado loaded ext cab 4X4 MSRP: 36475

thats a difference of 4025

what mods do you want to pick for 4g's

you could have a nissan with an sts for the price of a chevy

I think the titan is making a place in the american truck market, props to Nissan now if they could do something about the styling and the interior. If my dad new I typed this he'd shoot me
Nissan made the engines for the Japanese zero during WWII, grandfather lost a leg to them and dad was in Korean war he doesnt like anything halfway oriental related.

Great kill, I kinda like the styling of the Nissans. Domestic styling can be on the boring side. How much were your electris cutout(s)? I would love to have one, but it would be just for show cuz my truck is stock. off topic but alot of GM's products are made overseas, the Duramax is made byizuzu for example

ive had 2 nissans. great trucks. never had to work on them...EVER. just sold my last one off at 250,000 miles. still runnin strong as ever. i dont want to count how many problems ive had with the chevy's ive had(mostly electrical) give nissan a few years and they will have the v8 motor perfected like they did with the 4 bangers and 6 cyls.

I got them brand new from a ls1 owner/member in the classified section. He bought them, but didn't use them because they hung too low with his exhaust setup. I paid $225 for both of them shipped. Just keep your eyes open in the classified. They pop up all the time there.
