Default e fan temp probe

I have the flex-a-lite e fan controller part #99889. The instructions say to put the probe in the upper radiator hose. Does it really matter? Just don't want to run into a leak problem.

put the probe as close to the upper radiator hose but in the radiator you push the probe through the radiator bending the cooling fins as it goes in just get as close to the upper radiator hose

Don't forget to install the little rubber cap after it is through the radiator. It is needed in order to get an accurate temp reading. Better yet is to make a harness and turn on the fans via PCM. Cleaner, more reliable.

GET it from Nelson..comes with instrutions
Downside: You ahve to have it turned on from the PCM..so you need someone to do that for you.
