THE Tru-Cool 40K GVW Transmission Cooler Install Thread

I don't know if they will fit into the 40k cooler but to remove the lines you pop down the plastic piece which will reveal a metal clip, you just remove that and pull the line down.

Well, looks like I will be attacking this weekend. Never put together AN/steel braided lines, so here is what I got:

The vise clamp I cancelled, it is out of stock and won't ship til the 30th, so I'll do it the old fashioned way. I have a pair of 0ga cable cutters to make the cut clean. Anyone think of anything I am missing?

Here is mine. But i might move it under the grill and behind the bumper where that little slot is in the bumper. And honestly guys I think I shoulda bought a bigger thicker cooler from summit instead of this tru cool.

A few times on this thread folks have mentioned a NAPA fitting that supposedly screws into the cooler and connects directly to the GM line.
I got this fitting and I am fairly confused… the fitting from NAPA has a 5/8 NPT end on it… NOT inverted flare…. so I don't see why people are recommending this fitting… am I missing something?
Thanks!!
