Word of advice put trans in place and if youre running new factory cooler lines, slide em past oil pan and wiggle em in from the rear.... Makes live much easier than tryin go the other way...... Especially if you have a warn hidden winch mount!!!

Default Just Installed Mine

1999 Silverado 1/2T

Did not come with the small cooler in front of the radiator.

I routed the output of the radiator cooler to the Tru-Cool. I made a new line that went from the exit of th Tru-Cool back to the transmission.

I used a straight piece of aluminum bar with some spacers at the top and I flipped and rotated the bottom support bracket with a couple holes for the bottom mounts.

All went well except for accidentally drilling into the AC condenser!

I went with Earl's fittings since it sounds like they have less issues.

What size fitting did you use going to the rad? I'm looking to switch mine over to all AN line soon

Default 2013 escalade install

I used the Napa fittings on the install. Took the whole bumper off. Removed the stock cooler. Took out a plastic tray that goes between the radiator and bumper brace to free up the lines. They turn to rubber underneath so there's lots of give. Mounted the cooler with the metal universal brackets the kit comes with. Probably sticks out 1.5" out from the radiator brace. The driver side line popped right in. Passenger side was tight but went in with some persuasion. Had to trim some of the styrofoam on the inside of the bumper cover to clear the lines. The cooler was installed without cutting the factory lines at all. Direct plug and play. I saw a similar install was done on a 2013 silverado here that's what I used for reference. The newer nnbs trucks will most likely not require any cutting of the lines at all with the Napa fittings!

Stupid question, should I use Teflon when threading things on?
