One type is meant for inline use, the other for intank use.

Correct.

044 = inline (threaded inlet /outlet)

040 = in-tank (screened/open inlet, threaded outlet)

Well...a few additions to the fuel delivery system are in the works:
1. FAST fuel rails (and LSXRT intake)
2. FAST crossover
3. all the necessary AN fittings and hose
4. Magnafuel MP9925-B fuel pressure regulator

When does the return line start to pose a problem with fuel backing up? Also is the goodyear hose legal at your racetracks?

Haven't read of anyone having that issue.
HAVE read of several 1000+ HP set-ups running both stock feed and stock return lines though.

Not sure on the hose.
It won't be an issue at the two tracks I frequent.

You can tell the return line is too small if you cant hold a lower pressure at idle.

Thanks...I'll keep that in mind and run a larger return line if I see that is the case.

I saw the term "type" used quite often in the description of the 040 and 044 pumps all over the internet.
The hardware pack that ships with them is identical to the Bosch.
I compared these pumps to the Bosch I already had and other than "Bosch" and a series of #'s being printed on the pump itself...they are identical.
The guy selling them had good ratings on several forums...just been a while.
His e-bay rating is high as well.
Just so everyone knows...
I just found out that these pumps are NOT Bosch pumps...which doesn't surprise me considering the price.
We'll see how well they do.
Replies from seller:
I have been selling them for a little while and haven't had any issues. I ran two on my old twin turbo ls1 powered truck.. Had no problem making a little over 800hp to the wheels.
These are aftermarket pumps, although they are built completely to Bosch specifications. Materials are the same, flow characteristics, etc. I have sold many of these pumps and never had any complaints or returns. Let me know how they work on your application! Thanks!
He was on LS1TECH and several other forums as well that I found...member name, 1SICKWS6.
Has a trader rating of 38 here...w/ 100% positive feedback.
His ebay rating (rcconcepts) is 100% positive w/ a feedback score of 1257.

Keep us updated on how the pumps perform. They might be a cheaper alternative to the Bosch pumps.
