New inline fuel system

When the truck was running its best on the old set-up I started fighting fueling issues w/ the Walbro in-tank feeding the Bosch 044 inline. I didn't want to go thru that again this go around, sooooo...
here's the new fuel system that I came up with and had installed today:

Dual (-10) x 1/2"NPT from the rear of the stock tank to (-10) 90 degree Push-lite fittings:

Routed the two 5/8" hoses along the metal fuel tank shield:

Hoses routed under and over the cross-rail:

Dual (-10) 100 micron filters into dual Bosch 044 inline pumps...out w/ (-8):

Dual 1/2" hoses into (-8 x -8 x -8) "Y"...out w/ (-8) x (-6) reducer...3/8" hose to fuel rail:

Do both pumps run all the time Al?

just curious if you checked pressure consistency in after the the -8 lines into -6 line before installed on your truck ? do you think the two into one would be turbulent and cause a "foaming" effect? what about a drive shaft loop? to protect those lines

Are you going to use any type of fuel pressure regulator?

Yeah, Dave...I decided to run them both full time.

No, I didn't check pressure consistency from -8 to -6.
All dual pump systems have to y together at some point...not sure if the reduction from -8 to -6 will cause anything except increased pressure.
I have a "non-loop" near the front of the front DS...something to "pass" tech at the track w/ slicks. After seeing the beating that the tank shield took when I dropped the DS a couple of years ago, I will definitely be installing a full loop front and rear soon. The rear, short DS dropped from the pinion when two straps came off. That shaft beat the $#!+ out of the tank.

Stock 1:1 FPR

Do you anticipate any starvation if you are slowing down or park at a funny angle? Or is this one of those "never go below x amount of fuel before you fill up"?

I do...to a certain extent...and yes it is "one of those"...in my mind anyway. :D
I had starvation issues from the location of the stock pump when racing.
The truck has been my DD for 11 years and 285k miles...until a couple of months ago at least...when I purchased a new (to me) DD...so no biggie...til it happens. :)
