I am more leaning towards completly eliminating the stock manifold base and all. And making a base that would integrate a intercooler. I can get the right machine shop to make it for me.

What I'm thinking of doing is getting a pull out motor doesn't even have to run just be complete so that I can mock it up w/o down time to my truck. Get it all set up put it on mine get it tuned and if it works I may even sell them. I got a buddy of mine that is in the same situation as me and we may make it work together. We'll see I'm still in the research phase not even in the development phase.

thanks Spoolin but if I go to the V8 it's gotta be aluminum that I don't want to compromise on. It's bad enough that I might go down to 5.3L vs 6.0L hey anybody see any L92's for sale? Aluminum and 6.2L ahh one could only hope.
