Lurker that followed directions.
Lurked this forum a while and got a lot of good info. Now have an 03 Suburban with 4.88 gears wrapped around a a Truetrac in a diff built with Yukon axles and Moser C-Clip eliminators. Trans is a 4L60 with a 2,600 rpm stall, 5 pinion planetaries, Raybestos clutches, 0.50 boost valve, goes on and on ended up being almost $3k in parts and a year later still burns up the 33s hitting 2nd. Engine is a 5.3 with 4.8 pistons in it, TBSS intake Manifold, Long tube headers, Trick Flow GenX 205 heads, and a 226/226 0.598/0.598 LSA 111 from Comp. End of the day 336 rwhp and 304 lbs of torque. Numbers aint great cause the 4x4 and 33x12.5 muds soak up a lot but with 4.88 gears it's still fun.
Exhaust has no cats but is fairly subtle with a Resonator from Vibrant and a 20+ inch Spintech 8000 muffler.
Dyno video in 3rd gear to 120 mph.

Yeah the sig was done buy a graphics girl who went to my college. She thought it was funny. Another reason I joined PT was I recently bought a LQ4 with 200k on it for $500. Figure gut it and try to figure out how to make a 408 out of it. The GenX 205 heads on my 5.3 are on par with the 317 heads for flow but the compression should shoot to the moon with them on the 6.0. Probably around 11:1. I'm in the dark chucking rocks though on the rest of what to do. Currently the truck is too heavy and the 5.3 aint cutting it.
