Default Changing door locks and ignition lock

I hope this is the right spot to post this.
My truck is an '04 Hummer H2. It hasn't ran in about a year. Months and months ago, I had it towed to my parents place to have a covered place to work on it, storage etc.
Anyway, I think the tow truck drive forgot to give us the keys back. And like I said, its been at least 6 months since they towed it, so I doubt if I called they would help.
I can prove the truck is mine.

So my question is, how hard is it to change the door locks and ignition? It seems I can get the stuff off Ebay for about $60.
Thanks for any help.

Ignition lock cylinder is fairly easy, should be a hole in the lower column cover to push locking pin in and remove switch biggest problem is not having key to turn switch to run but big enough screw driver should fix that... Door locks remove door panels pull back watershield and have really tiny hands and 1/4" swivel extension and 10mm socket and if i remember correctly pull handles and they come off with em just need make sure to get the clips off rods and back in right place(where the tiny hands come in to play). As far as i remember the h2 had same door handle setup as suburbans and stuff same year!! Not sure of the rear door if its got lock cylinder shouldnt be too terrible to get to though! Dumb question have you taken your registration to a dealer they can probably make you a key for same price as lock cylinders

I haven't tried the dealer. I called a locksmith and he said just for the door locks it was $155, A SIDE, to rebuild them. Yea I dont have that kinda money.
Ill call the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks.

And the only problem I see me having with the way you said, it the really tiny hands.
Im 6'4"/ 300lbs. :-(

Lol yeah that happens alot, im in same boat not as big, but my hands are still huge compared to some of the places ive had to put them... Dealer should be able to make you key off the vin for between 60-85 and save hedache of having to have them rekeyed
