See here is how my dumb mind works say I buy a LS2/M6 combo say for $7K then I GOTTA go through the motor (just how I work) so after pistons, cam and head work and intake and throttle body etc. well you can see where this is going then I gotta put the damn thing in the truck so add what? $3K to put it in? plus the $4-5K for the upgrades. So here I am trying to figure out a way to get more power and spend less money.

I got the rear squared away got an 8.5" thats goin in with a triangulated 4 link. See I also do not want add too much weight to the nose and F' up the handling. That's why I want to go with an aluminum block.

Your not gonna gain that much weight going from aluminum to iron block. Id say 5.3 or 6.0 and all the other crap you wanna throw in there. I think you can do it for alot less than you were thinking.

$4,500 to 6,000 for a good complete motor and transmission.
Ya gotta figure $6-700 for the harness, $1000 for stainless longtubes, $600 radiator and fans, $250 for a driveshaft, $250 for an oil pan, or notched front Crossmember, $500 for corvette accessories, $180 for an LS2 water pump, $250 for a good exhaust system installed. Another $1,500 for the miscellaneous parts.
Unless it's done by the owner, there's $ for labor to install.
Of course, you could build your own harness, find some radiator to install, shorten a stock driveshaft, use F-body lS1 Fans, modified 98 F-body exhaust manifolds, etc for a lot less.
The costs for these installs will vary greatly.
A takeout LQ9 with a Magnuson will be in the $7-8000 range.
Throw in a $2,500 transmission to handle the 480 HP and torque made by the motor/blower combo.

I ran up to 15psi by accident on mine and asside from screwing up 2 spider injectors the motor an all was fine. On the third injector swap I went with the conversion kit that put the injectors at each cylinder instead of the poppet valve ****. It seemed to be fine and was alot of fun at 6psi. I have 120k miles on the thing and have gone lowered, lifted, N2O'd, turboed, and just plain beat on and its still running strong. Dont underestimate the 4.3L. lol
