Can I put in say 42lb injectors and just tune the PCM for it, or will that cause problems.

Reason I ask, is I alway see 8.1 marine injectors for sale but all I want is the regular 8.1 injectors (30lbs)

 

Yes, you just need the IFR table rescaled for the larger injectors and it will run fine with either 30lbs or 43lbs.

 

So basically instead of the 25.24 that is there for factory 24lbs, I can just put in the correct ##'s across the board and it will be ok.
Is the Injector Flow Rate vs. KPA VAC the only table I need to mess with?

I have a new take off set of the 8.1 truck injectors that came off a crate motor. They were only used for testing. PM mean offer I may be selling them Because I need the marine injectors.

whats the differance between the 8.1 and the 8.1 marine injectors?

 

Standard 8.1 truck injectors are 31 lbs/hr and marine 8.1's are 43 lbs/hr.
