Although it does shift Very hard when I go from a stop to R or D. ((EDIT) seems to be that when i changed the RPM to 800 is when it started shifting so hard, I dont mind it, I just dont need any excessive strain on that weak POS 4L60E! But I am ready to have the power to break it Again.))

I run 93, well I put the top grade in where ever im at. Did that even before the cam swap. I will change the knock setting when I get a chance and let you know how it goes. Im trying to change one variable at a time and drive awhile to see how things go before I change Everything and not know what did what.

Just to be sure, I change my Boundary under Engine-Fuel-General- Injection Timing, Boundary, it is now set on 6.50 and i need to try it on 6.21 and 6.16 right?
NO NO NO do NOT change the boundary, the boundary should be stock 6.5, leave it like that, there is a table on the bottom that says normal, click that and u add the values there either 6.21, or 6.16 at the temperatures u see when starting it up. Like i said, your cam doesn't have overlap so it really shouldnt make a difference, but the values i gave you are so the fuel is injected almost instantaneously when the intake valve opens

Ha Ha ok, if the over lap wouldnt cause that then what would cause that raw fuel smell, it running really rich at idle or what?

I got the 114 LSA for the reason that "IF" I went FI I wouldn't be "blowing" air out of the exaust with the overlap.

Just to be sure I replace the current values with 6.21 or 6.16.... right now it goes like this

ENG coolant Temp -40 -18 3 25 46 68 90 111 133 154 176 ect...
EOIT( ref periods after boundary) 2.55 2.55 2.55 2.55 2.55 2.55 3.55 4.55 4.55 5.55 5.55 ect...

so replace or add to?

Do you have a wideband yet?

No wideband yet but yes I know I need one. Is it hard to hook one up and use it with HP Standard? I've read about the hook up through the AC 5v but is it difficult or take a lot of time or what?

I changed the "enable delta and the other is "vs. rpm"" multiplied it all by .5 still had the same problem so I set them all to 0 and it fixed it! Laid into it from a dead stop and KR spiked at 1.6? at 25 mph then went down as speed increased. Over all it drives better and dont bog as bad when you add a little gas to it.

you replace the 5.55 values to one of the two values i recommended.

and yes I am suspicious that you are either smelling fuel because of a rich condition, or because of an exhaust leak. If you can post an idle log at operating temp when you start smelling the fuel that would be great!

It is not that simple to do it with HP standard, hooking it up and routing the wideband is easy as ****, but using the AC 5v wont be as simple but should be better than no wideband. I bought hptuners pro cuz i decided not to go thru all the bs of the AC switch. There are alot of write ups though so you should be able to do it in an hour or so.

You said your KR spiked at 1.6 at 25mph, what was the amount of degrees the cell hit? if you are not running 93 octane then reduce timing in that cell by the appropriate amount it indicates. So if you got 5 KR at 1.6 at 90 KPA, then go to the high octane table, reduce 5 degrees in the 1.6 rpm and 90 kpa cell. then copy the high octane table again to the low octane table.

It might be due to your cam that you will see different timing values, since your engine breathes in at different lapses than stock.

If you still see KR even after 0'ing the burst knock, then it is usually real knock.

No I haven't changed the injector timing yet.

The KR was 1.6 not at 1,600 RPM, next time I will save and post the file, I know KR is bad but its a lot better than the 8 deg it had.

Here is a drive that had some KR in it and "IF" I remember right it starts around 45 sec or so. This is with both tables zeroed out also. The truck has also developed a drop/surge in rpm and it does it randomly a 2-300 RPM drop surge back and drop and surge back 3 or 4 times its weird and it only does it sometimes and it just started it.

I also noticed yesterday while parked with my truck running my IAT went up and up and up, 160 to be exact, isn't that as high as the gague reads? Im guessing this is normal due to high engine bay temps.

Oh and my MAF is still on 0 with mil on 1st error on P0101 102 and 103

you uploaded a CFG file, not a HPL file.

upload both your HPT file and your HPL file

160 IAT is ridiculous, here in TX i havent seen the IAT values go over 106 in idle.

I can idle for an hour with the AC wide open and my IATs barely hit 150.. My water/air intercooler is right between my intercooler and water pump.

I believe you have an issue. Do you have a open airfilter?

Yea I have a K&N cold air and was parked after a 15 or so mile drive with the AC on #2 and I was there maybe 15 min... it was about 80? deg here yesterday, I live in central South GA my county touches FL

I guess I need some pipeing from the outside to keep the heat down but that wont be anytime soon.

Ill get those files as soon as I can.
