Default water on driver side floor board, need help

hey i was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with water leakage on the driver sider floor board. i took it to the dealership and they didn't know what the problem was but they know what it wasn't. it's not leaking from the A/C or heater core. anyways i drove home and looked under the vehicle itself and found some kind of a seal and a cord coming out of it. right above that seal is where the water puddle is. it's not a water puddle but it's a wet spot on a small area. it's starting to stink but i need to fix the problem first before i do anything. has anyone else had this problem. i never noticed it before but i know it's been there for a while. go check your floor board and see for yourself. any ideas on fixing it???? thanks for the help.....

Kinda sounds like the A/C evaporator drain tube might be plugged. Thus making that little cavity fill with water and overflow onto your floorboard. The Tube exits the firewall behind the receiver/drier under the hood. Try poking a small wire into it and see if water starts flowing out of it. Just a thought.

Mine does on the driver side as well. I think mine is from the nitrous line running beside the rubber gromet that holds the pcm wires. take a pic and scan it. Is it only happening when it rains?

no it's not the a/c evaporator. the dealership jacked it up on the ramps and we had the a/c running. the hose was leaking just fine. it's just a small spot on the floor board on the (drivers side) completely away from under the dash area. if you look under your truck you should see a spot directly under your drivers seat. it's a rubber gasket with some kind of wire running out of it. i really don't know if it only gets wet when it rains or if something is leaking. my guess is when it rains. however i don't see how it could leak (up) from the baseboard. i can rub my hand on the water spot and it already smells like mildew. i vacumed up the excess water but it is still damp. any other suggestions?????????? thanks for the help though...

I had a huge water leak last week, had puddles of water from the rain all in the drivers side of the cab - soaked the padding/insulation stuff under the carpet and took a day to dry out - I'm 90% sure it was the rubber grommet in the door jam that the wires run through. the grommet that has a plastic clip inside of it - the rubber was sticking up a little bit on the top, not making a seal...and it rained real hard so all the rain that fell inside that door jam got into my truck.
