How difficult do you guys think it would be to get the silverado hood to fit on the gmc?

 

Just do an 03-05 silvy front clip and then you can use that hood. Other than that it looks to be quite abit of work with the fenders being different,grille being different and the headlights. Just my 0.2

 

Completely different sheetmetal. Just find that hood in the gmc version if you have to have it.

 

A 99-02 chevy hood...cut for the lights and finish the underside and your done. The 03+ hoods, I don't think I would ever attempt it.

What are you after? The scoop? 1 of 2 options the way I see it. The best option IMO is to get a hood like this, already made for a sierra


And the other option being you cut the scoop out of the silverado hood, and mold it into your existing hood. Better have a good sheet metal worker, and probably body man to make it look right though

 

If your set on that hood I've got one sitting in my garage I'm trying to sell.

That hood is not going to fit a gmc. Nothing about a 03-07 silvy fits the 99-07 sierra.
