My wife, brother and myself were out getting some parts for his cai, and I had a couple guys in a 09 Hemi ram crew cab jump up beside me and rev it. He said his only had straight pipes from the cats, no other mods. It had 17's and thats all I know of, no tune or handheld. My mods in sig, we lined em up and he nosed me out of the hole, then I inched in front at the top of first. He pulled in front by about a half a truck and then at the about 70mph I passed him and we ran until about 105 at which point he was a little past my back bumper. I was very surprised that I was able to outrun him and I had one more passenger than him!!

nice kill but i really doubt it was a hemi.....I have beaten NNBS tuned 5.3 crewcab, tuned, pullied NNBS 6.0, and Stock 6.2 in my 2010 crewcab HEMI on 20's......that or that guy could not drive

It was a hemi, we stopped and talked and looked each others trucks over. I don't know much about the hemi's but he mentioned that the newer ones had more power than his, so his truck may have been an 08??

 

then ya if it was a 03-08 hemi then it could happen....

Yeah, I beat up on these with the usual intake,exhaust,programmer(four doors, never ran a reg cab I know they are much faster), but the new ones are a total different animal. The new hemis are a beast stock.

 

The new ones looks pretty sexy with those exhaust tips going through the bumper, and the new cab shape.
