I think mine would be impossible with solid mounts due to my trans shield. It is difficult enough now even with being able to tilt the rear of the trans down a little. I would need to spend a day removing and re-installing the blowers to get at those bolts. As it is, I use assorted long extensions, swivel sockets, and duct tape...Lol Have also hammered the body seam down to gain some space. Some access holes in the firewall would be nice if I didn't have a console.

Ok, so the same people who preach safe then sorry and go overkill on many things omit bolts that are already there and require no additional cost. Only a little extra effort. I find this ironic. My good friend is a trans builder, FYI it's pretty common to see broken housings on 80e's. Granted most are plow trucks but to say they aren't needed is a bit much. If someone wishes to use 4 bolts that is just fine, but just because you did it before and nothing happened that doesn't mean it will always be ok. Also food for thought, some setups hit harder out of the hole.

I tend to agree with that Pat. Why risk it with all the power we make... I don't know. 5 bolts makes me feel better than 4 lol.
In other news... I had to install the spacer last night. I'm an idiot and forgot that the LS3 injectors are shorter than the LS2. So my injectors fit perfectly with the spacer. I will say though... definitely disappointed with my experience with this thing. I still fully believe it has a huge benefit to power on this blower, but god damn. The gasket didnt fit right, there were no instructions... list goes on. I had to literally take the blower appart completely. The first time I didn't know how to remove the IC from the rotor pack... so I wasted a night on that bullshit. Very unfortunate waste of time when it is hugely valuable right now, and the truck is being worked on a distance from my house.
God damn it I need my own garage and lift...
Still a pretty good nickel and dime list of crap that needs to be crossed off the list
