Should be back at it tonight. I hope to cross a bunch of stuff off the list...

The trans came out looking good and I will post pictures of the torsion cross member as well.

More progress!!!

Swapped to the solid motor mounts, installed the transmission, installed the torsion crossmember and torsion bars, got the headers on, put the accessories on the motor, got the blower on, and test fir a belt!!! Hell of a night.

First my notched crossmember for the torsion bars. This will create more room for my exhaust to clear. Coupled with the trans crossmember I finally have some breathing room. It was lowered about a half inch.

Next we got the engine in with the funkster solid motor mounts. They seem to fit great so far... I will let you know what I think when the engine fires! Unfortunately they didnt show up before the weekend... so we had the motor in on the stock mounts, but with this SNAFU we decided to wait on headers. Last night we jacked the motor up, and put the new mounts in place.

Next we got the blower in place. We waited to get the trans in so we had easy access to the higher bell housing bolts. I also had to rewire my cam sensor plug as we destroyed that on sunday.

We decided to keep on keepin on and get the remaining accessories on there... and VOILA!! a 115" belt fits great. I am beyond pumped!

I've never had an issue with them... but then again, I have about 4 ft of 1/2" extensions with a wobble impact.
