The aftermarket parts are designed with looser clearances and will pressurize the block quicker, therefore sending more oil into a catch can. I also have the Holley valve covers that are notorious for having issues like that.
My catch can is designed to go from the valve cover to the TOP of the catch can where it has a filtration system that hangs down about 2" that is designed to turn vapor into oil liquid. The outlet port on the side of the can is above the bottom of the filtration system and that goes to the vacuum port on my blower.

Data log crankcase press/vac with and without the line hooked up to the intake. In the unhooked scenario just let it vent to atmosphere.

Sorry to confuse. No, to my knowledge there is no way to log in stock form. You'll have to add a 2 bar sensor somewhere, like maybe in the valley plate. You use a 2 bar because it'll show vacuum and pressure.

That wouldnt be hard at all actually. The stock PCMs have EGR, and AC pressure on 5v inputs that can be hijacked temporarily. I have my methanol pressure going through my ac pressure via a transducer I got off ebay. Would be very easy to do the same thing for crank case pressure.
