Alright guys... heres a run down.

Made some great progress this weekend but its not done. Unfortunately we nade a dealy mistake when dropping the motor in. The cam sensor harness was hanging down unto the bell housing. We torqued it down right on top of it... we ruined the harness and cracked an ear off the bell housing. It is being welded back on this AM and I am tracking down a new harness. We pulled the trans out to get the harness out of the bell housing and we took that opportunity to tidy up a few other things. For starters my new trans crossmember will finally be going in. Second, I notched my torsion bar crossmember to create a little more room for my exhaust. Something I have been meaning to do for some time now.

Alright... on to the pics. I got everything coated the way I wanted to and did a final mock up. It came out as good as I had hoped it would! Let me know your thoughts!

Here is the final paint on all the covers:

Here we have the motor our of the truck:

I have a sweet time lapse video of the stock motor coming out... I just need to get it flipped and posted onto youtube.

Here is the final mock up... everything fits as I had hoped and I think I will be uding a 115" belt.

I had originally planned on using a 3.4" pulley... but it doesnt fit all that well. The magnuson steel pullies fit far better, so I will be moving forward with this one. Its only a 3.2" pulley. All the boost... ALL of it haha. With the OD rear cogs this is equivalent of running a 2.67" pulley. So I will be spinning this 2300 even faster than my 1900, and I will be shifting this motor higher. Wish me luck...

Motor looks sinister.

Does your truck have the tan or grey interior?

Thanks man, I love it. My goal was to coat everything to match the blower as best I could. I like the way it all came out. Had to get a little crafty with that Alt bracket in order to fit that TB. But its doing exactly what I wanted it to.

I have the darker interior in my truck.

I know...

We're working on it. Going to make as much progress as possible in the upcoming week.

I've been looking at sierra denalis (they're fairly rare it seems) but all the black ones seemed to have the ugly tan interior. I want the grey/pewter interior

Looks really good!

You could always go to coilovers to get rid of that pesky crossmember entirely

I may not like the dash color as much... but I really like the lighter color leather.

I know. Eventually I will make that change. For the time being I need to hold off on spending that money though... It always works out to be nearly $1000 for what I need. I'd like as much of an apples to apples as I can get here as well. The chassis and suspension mods will come later.

I would like to get a sense for how much power I make before too much changes

Be vewy vewy quiet... I'm hunting turbos

Yea frankly I have no idea what to expect. All I know is I want to trap a hell of a lot more than 118.5. At my weight of 5350, based on some calculators, it took nearly 700 to get there. I don't care what a dyno or calculator tells me I had before, I just want a big improvement.
